Gran Turismo 5 trailer here

See the trailer to hotly anticipated Playstation 3 driving game Gran Turismo 5, with release date announced

Gran Turismo 5 - Ferrari 599 GTB

Gran Turismo 5 must be the most eagerly awaited and overly delayed driving game in the relatively short history of driving games. However, just in case the anticipation was starting to degenerate into apathy this stunning trailer has been uploaded to the ether complete with release date at the end. The Nurburgring is on there with Super GTs taking off at Flugplatz. A Ferrari 458 amongst other things is seen tearing round the Dunsfold (aka Top Gear) test track and if you’ve always wondered what it would be like to drive a NASCAR then the cockpit shot on the trailer looks like it will give you a pretty good idea. There is a gorgeous piece of strada bianchi being ripped up by various WRC cars including Citroen’s C4 and the rare but quite cool Suzuki SX4. Graphically rendered glimpses of various city vistas including Rome and London pass fleetingly across the screen before Red Bull’s involvement is highlighted with shots of Seb Vettel and Adrian Newey. Finally we’re informed that we’ll have to wait until November before we can hardwire ourselves to a PS3 and get stuck in. We can’t wait.
