2012 Goodwood Revival in pictures: the road cars

The Goodwood Revival is always about more than just historic racing, with a mouth-watering selection of 'period' cars both inside and outside the circuit

The Goodwood Revival has become established as one of the dates in the petrolhead calendar, but it's also grown to encompass far more than just historic racing. The Revival is a recreation of the era from 1948 to 1966, and 'period' road cars have always been encouraged to come along. This year the carpark culture has grown into a full on 'Revival Car Show', with several hundred eligible road cars assembling in what's basically a classic car show outside the Revival itself. Here's our selection of some of the highlights from the carparks at this year's Goodwood Revival...
