Saab 9-4X

We've captured Saab's all-new 2010 9-4X without the heavy camouflage of previous test cars...

We can see the production model will take heavily after the Saab BioPower concept that debuted at the 2008 Detroit NAIAS. Code-named GMT168, this Saab will start production at the Ramos Arizpe plant in the United States in the latter half of 2009. It will be based on GM's new TE-chassis and will share this platform with the 2010 Cadillac SRX. In addition to regular gasoline motors, the 9-4X will pack a new 250-hp diesel motor developed by GM and VM Motori. Saab's 'XWD' all-wheel-drive system will also be available.
