Skoda Yeti takes Car of the Year award

evo's sister publication Auto Express awards its Car of the Year gongs. Yeti, Golf GTI, RCZ and R8 V10 triumph

Skoda Yeti

An evo favourite has won a major award from our sister title, too – the Skoda Yeti is the Auto Express 2010 Car of the Year. It’s won us over with its funky packaging and sorted dynamics, while Auto Express’s judges are especially enmoured by its cracking value for money and spacious cabin. Other winners at this year’s awards include the Volkswagen Golf GTI scooping the hot hatch award (with Renaultsport’s Megane 250 and Clio 200 commended), the Audi R8 V10 taking the performance car award, the Mazda MX-5 as best roadster and Peugeot’s stylish new RCZ beating the Audi TT and VW Scirocco to the best coupe crown. You can find out about all the winners at the Auto Express website or by picking up a copy of the latest magazine, in shops now.
