Tesla Model S gets design refresh and faster charging
New interior options join list of changes made to Model S
Tesla has updated the Model S with a redesigned front end and the choice of two different wood finishes for the interior. Pricing for the new look Model S, which is on sale now, will start at £53,800 for the entry-level 70D model.
Tesla has also taken the clever HEPA air filtration system found in the Model X and incorporated it into the Model S. Allegedly 100 times more effective than a normal cabin filter, it forms part of what Tesla calls its 'bioweapon defense mode', for cabin air.
Also improved is charge times for the Model S, with the standard charger moving up from 40 amps to 48 amps, allowing Tesla's now extensive supercharger network to charge the car even faster.

Tesla also recently unveiled the entry-level Model 3. Designed to be an affordable electric competitor to the likes of BMW's 3 Series, it's already seen allegedly in excess of 300,000 pre-orders.
