evo Track Evening - Bedford Autodrome 07/09/2018

The final evo Track Day of the 2018 season has been and gone. Pictures and full details here...

It was a long road, much of it littered with smoldering tyre carcasses, but the 2018 evo track day season finally closed in style with the last event at Bedford Autodrome.

After a total of five track evenings split between evo’s home circuit at Bedford and the challenging in-field track at Rockingham, the curtain has come down on the 2018 season but we closed things out with a flourish. It was a great evening with some fantastic cars and not a spot of rain to spoil the track conditions.

As has been the norm for this season’s evo Track Day series, the last event was brought to you in partnership with BMW. That meant lucky ticket holders got the chance to see and experience the German brand’s latest wares. There were opportunities to drive, and be driven in, the new BMW M140i, BMW M4 and BMW M5 on track and many guests took BMW up on their kind offer.

On static display in the pit lane were some of the freshest new faces in the BMW performance car stable. The BMW M5 Competition, i8 Roadster and M850i were the centres of attention and BMW staff were on hand to answer questions. Finally, the evo team were also out in force with some of the current fast fleet long term test cars and poised for a quick chat about anything that took guests’ fancy.

If you weren’t lucky enough to attend, or if you were and would like to see some of the photos, check out the gallery above and the live Twitter feed below for a taste of the evening’s action.

Finally, it’s goodbye to the evo Track Days for another year but don’t forget to get involved when the 2019 evo Track Day dates are announced and tickets go on sale...
