Nurburgring video

Duncan Clarke's 7th trip to the Ring resulted in a best lap of 7.58 around the Nurburgring despite traffic and damp patches on track.

With a staggering 440 BHP per ton, the modified Caterham Superlight R, famous for being quoted as being 'too fast to race' lapped all day without fault and surprised many of the local German bikers and drivers.

The Superlight R was one of the first production cars to lap the Nordschleife under the magical eight minute barrier and even today would take Porsche or Ferraris finest to better.
