Ferrari 599XX up for sale

Following the tragic earthquakes that have been affecting the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy since 20 May, the latest hitting just 19 miles away from Modena, Ferrari will open an international online auction to raise funds for the families of the victims, with the star attraction being a Ferrari 599XX Evo.

The 599XX Evo usually carries a price tag of €1.3m, and the hardcore track racer (although it isn't actually homologated ror any form of racing) includes the very best of Ferrari's racing technology, including a form of KERS and active aerodynamics.

As well as the 599XX, Ferrari will be selling various items from team racing drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa and other memorobilia through the company's online Ferrari store.
