The new rear-drive Hyundai Coupe looks likely to make it to the UK after all

Hyundai coupe

The new rear-drive Hyundai Coupe, launched at the New York show recently, wasn’t expected to come to the UK but now looks as if it will thanks to renewed Hyundai UK enthusiasm for the project. The car comes with either a 210bhp 2-litre turbo engine or a 306bhp 3.8-litre V6. In a few months’ time a 375bhp V8 will be launched, aimed squarely at the Ford Mustang. Expect prices to start under £20,000 if and when it goes on sale here in the UK.
