Limited-run Jaguar F-type Reims Edition revealed

Jaguar’s new limited-run F-type Reims Edition references past motorsport triumph

Jaguar F-type Reims Edition

Jaguar has unveiled the F-type Reims Edition, a limited-run model referenced by the iconic D-type’s maiden victory at the 1954 12 Hours of Reims. Destined only for the UK, just 150 units will be produced in total with prices starting at £58,950.

The new limited edition model is most obviously picked out by its French Racing Blue paintwork, a hue last used on the XFR-S and XKR-S flagship models back in the mid 2010s.

The Reims Edition will be manufactured by the brand’s Special Vehicles’ Bespoke team, its bespoke paint work contrasted with gloss black 20-inch wheels, and the exterior black pack, replacing the traditional brightwork around the grille, window surrounds and badging.

The theme continues inside with the interior black pack adding a gloss black instrument cluster, door switches and door handles alongside black leather trim, while added inclusions like the panoramic roof, heated seats, the climate pack are also fitted.

There are no performance upgrades on the menu, but buyers can specify their Reims Edition in either four-cylinder P300 or V8 P450-form. The latter sends 444bhp to the ground for a spritely 4.4sec 0-62mph time and an impressive 177mph top speed and is available in either rear- or all-wheel drive.

Prices begin at £58,950 for the P300, which when the added features are taken into account actually make it better value than a standard model equipped to the same level. Just 150 units will be constructed with customer deliveries commencing in March. Order books are open now.
