Jaguar F-type first ride video

Hear the new Jaguar F-type Roadster's fantastic soundtrack as we ride in it for the first time in this video

We’d be the first to admit the Jaguar F-type’s development process has felt long, and that we can’t wait to just drive the thing. But while a passenger ride is clearly second best to personally having a go, as Harry Metcalfe’s video above proves, it can reveal plenty about a car’s character nonetheless. Like just how brilliant both V6 and V8 versions of the F-type sound, the former resembling a particular German rival and the latter popping and crackling like mad on downchanges. Get a feel for one of 2013’s most talked about cars via the video.
