After its official unveiling at the L.A. motor show, the Mercedes-Benz ML63 has been priced for the UK at £82,995. The SUV is fitted with the same 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the rest of the 63 AMG range, and is available with a 550bhp AMG performance upgrade.
Performance is brisk, managing to 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds, but is an astonishing 40 percent more economical than the previous model, capable of 23.9mpg and CO2 emissions of just 276g/km.
As well as the AMG performance upgrade, the ML63 is available with the 'Driver's Package' for an extra £2820 which raises the 155mph limiter to 174mph, should you need it.
