Bugatti Veyron hits lake

250mph Bugatti Veyron supercar goes for a saltwater swim in America

Bugatti Veyron

Sights you probably don’t want to see number 173: a 250mph+ Bugatti Veyron hypercar beached in a corroding saltwater lake. You’d be especially peeved if it was yours, but by the sound of things, the owner in question probably only has himself to blame. Reports suggest he was driving whilst on the phone, and upon being distracted by a low-swooping pelican – obviously – he dropped his phone and gave the steering wheel a panicky tug before hitting mud and plunging into the looming lagoon. He’s remained anonymous (as you would) but a video of his sorry car being towed from the water has managed to surface online.
