Litchfield Motors opens new Supercar Centre

Gloucester car tuner opens state-of-the-art building

Litchfield Motors has opened a new 20,000 sq ft 'Supercar Centre' that will allow the Gloucester based specialist to build on its reputation as one of Europe's leading performance BMW and Nissan GT-R specialists

The new purpose-built location will be home to Litchfield’s scheduled servicing and dyno runs, where it says 16 flat access ramps, a SuperFlow engine dyno and sophisticated twin-retarder Maha dyno cell will enable it to work on a wide range of high performance cars.

We've experienced Litchfield's work first hand, with no less than five of its cars taking part in past evo Car of the Year tests. But the firm is best known for its work on Nissan's GT-R, frequently building engines that produce as much as 1200bhp.

Litchfield hopes it's new HQ will allow it to offer its services to a wider customer base, and claims it now has the capacity to work with fast-road cars, track cars, racing cars and prototypes can now be catered for. Litchfield is already working with a number of racing teams.
