Predictably, we here at evo are big fans of motor racing and as such thought it might be an idea to share with our readers the best pictures that we come across in the evo office.

This week, the World Rally Championship returned to Sweden over the weekend where Jari-Matti Latvala Toyota Gazoo Racing took a momentous win in just their second WRC since returning to the series.

After a mid-rally retirement from Thierry Neuville and his leading Hyundai, Latvala inherited first place with the two M-Sport Fiesta’s close behind, maintaining the gap to secure the win.

The Swedish rally has always been famous for its stunning scenery and fast arboreal roads, so much so organisers saw the need to cancel some stages before the start on Friday. A truly unique addition to the WRC, click through our gallery to see why it is so iconic.
