Zonda Cinque Roadster

Pagani unleashes the road-legal, roadster version of the stunning Zonda R

New limited production Pagani Cinque Roadster takes advantage of the incredibly light carbon-titanium fibre body used in the previous Cinque to keep weight down at only 1,210kg, that’s exactly the same as the Coupe.

In fact almost everything in the Roadster is the same as the Coupe. It’s got the same 678hp AMG engine, same ceramic-coated titanium exhaust system, same magnesium/ aluminium wheels and the same magnesium/ titanium suspension. The only real differences are a re-designed chassis to compensate for lost rigidity and a storage space for the roof in the front bonnet.

Pagani offers a 0-62mph time of 3.4 seconds and a 0-124mph in 9.6 seconds, again exactly the same as the coupe. No top speed was offered but it’s a good bet that it’ll be about 217mph (I think you know why by now).

Produced in a limited run of five, the Cinque Roadster will set you back about £1.1 million before taxes… if you can get your hands on one.
