Senna's Toleman up for sale
Ayrton Senna's first F1 car, a Toleman TG184-2, will be offered for sale by Silverstone Auctions
The car that Senna took that legendary second place at the Monaco GP in 1984, this Toleman TG184-2 was the car that gave Ayrton his first shot in F1 - holding a special place in history for many F1 fans. The iconic F1 car has been fully re-commissioned, and is ready to race.
Prices for anything Senna-related have been extremely strong, undoubtedly fuelled by the critically acclaimed Senna movie. One of Senna's race helmets recently sold for £74,750, considerably more than anybody was estimating, so it will be interesting to see how much this Toleman fetches.
Offered by Silverstone Auctions, the Toleman will go under the hammer at the Spring Sale on 16 May.
