Goodwood Revival 2013: picture gallery

The 2013 Goodwood Revival served up extra thrills and spills thanks to very slippery conditions. Huge picture gallery here

The Goodwood Revival took place last weekend. The Revival – hosted at Goodwood’s historic motor racing circuit rather than the driveway of Lord March’s house – sees racing legends (both the cars and drivers, that is) go wheel to wheel. The cars can be worth millions but not an inch is given to reflect this, and the event typically serves up some of the most enthralling racing on the motorsport calendar. Especially when the clouds roll over and the heavens open, as they did this year. The 1940s, 50s and 60s were hardly the days of traction control and sky-high mechanical grip, after all…

The 2013 event served up a number of big anniversaries, including 50 years of the Ford GT40 – with a one-make series race to celebrate – and 100 years of Aston Martin. Peruse the pictures of some of Goodwood Revival 2013’s highlights in the gallery below, clicking them to make them larger.
