Long term tests

Nissan Navara

Finally we get round to sorting the Navara's car park bump

I thought the scratches I so clumsily added to the Navara’s nose with the Mégane’s rump a couple of months ago gave it a patina of building-site authority. My colleagues didn’t agree, though, so after far too much dithering I arranged for vehicle preparation specialists Shine! (www.taketheweekendoff.com or 0800 321067) to visit the office and sort our workhorse out.

Shine! charges a set price of £115 for bumper-scuff repairs, and after setting up an impressive awning, a very talented man set about stripping, treating and respraying our Navara’s front-end, returning it to pre-buff showroom condition. Very neat. Although it’s a bit like giving a brickie a makeover if you ask me…
