Toyota Racing Developments is the official tuning arm of Toyota, and has been responsible for the company’s Motorsport activities and aftermarket tuning parts for many years.

The UK GT86 TRD model boasts a set of 18-inch TF6 alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and ‘fast-response’ quad-exhaust system. The new aerodynamic modifications are said to improve high-speed stability. Other tweaks include TRD-branded radiator cap fuel filler cap and gear knob.

Performance remains unchanged, with a 0-62mph time of 7.7 seconds and 140mph top speed, although the fuel consumption and CO2 figures have suffered slightly at 192g/km (up from 181g/km) and 34.9mpg (up from 36.2mpg) for the manual.
