Patrick Snijers' BMW M3 E30 at the Manx

Big picture gallery as evo's Chris Harris meets Patrick Snijers and his legendary Prodrive BMW M3 E30

In 1988, the BMW M3 enjoyed one of its greatest motorsport victories when Patrick Snijers drove an E30 to win on the Manx Rally. In evo Issue 148 (and on this video) Chris Harris meets the Belgian as he is reunited with one of the Proddrive-built cars, and then gets behind the wheel himself. See a gallery of images - including some unseen in the magazine - below. Click the photographs to enlarge them.

Chris sampled the car as part of our BMW M3 25th birthday celebration. Read the whole thing - including a drive in the new M3 GTS supercar and a E30 Sport Evo v E36 Imola v E46 CSL v E92 Competition group test - in evo Issue 148, on sale now. Details are this way.
