Hartge BMW M5 launched

BMW tuning specialist Hartge has increased the F10 M5's power to 633bhp.

German tuning company Hartge, responsible for creating some of the most powerful BMW-based cars ever, has revealed a new upgrade package for the latest M5 and M6 – raising power to from 552 to 633bhp and torque from 501 to 597lb ft.

Most of this power increase is due to an engine re-map (which also removes the top speed limiter) but the M5 also gets the option of a stainless steel exhaust. Sports suspension can also be specified; with a 25mm front and 20mm rear drop in ride height.

If you’re not quite satisfied with the looks of your M5, styling upgrades are also offered, with a set of 21-inch Hartge Classic 2 wheels, front lip spoiler and carbon mirror casings. The power upgrade is offered in Germany for €4635, with the stainless exhaust coming in at €2689.
