Ferrari California: Ferrari California

Official pricing announced as Ferrari California launches in Sicily

Ferrari has announced that its California coupe-convertible will sell on UK shores for £143,000. That pops it directly in between the F430 hard-top and spider, while offering the roof of both in one package alongside a screaming 4.3-litre V8.

It provides the California with 460bhp through the rear wheels, with 357lb ft of torque on tap. Top speed is 192mph with a trick new seven-speed twin-clutch transmission helping the new drop-top to 60mph in under four seconds - a figure which shrugs off the car's bulky 1735kg weight.

The press launch for Ferrari's all-new model is ongoing, and for the definitive verdict of Maranello's CC, make sure you pick up evo126 next month for an in-depth drive. In the meantime, tell the forum what you think of a £143k Ferrari cabrio...
