Our debut evening of the season was made all the better by our trackday partner for this year, BMW, which showcased the new M3 CS to the evo community in attendance. A trio of M4s were also present for our guests to experience out on the South West configuration of Bedford Autodrome, with qualified instructors riding in the passenger seat.

All manner of performance models rubbed shoulders in the paddock, ranging from hot hatchbacks to supercars. Those drivers taking a break from the action, giving an opportunity for brakes to cool, roamed the pitlane eyeing the eclectic collection of cars.

Meanwhile, our editorial team took the opportunity to exercise its Fast Fleet cars on track, including our new Caterham 310R, our Honda Civic Type R and our Viper Green Audi RS3 Saloon.

Take a look at the pictures and videos from the first instalment of our 2018 evo Track Day series on this page.
