Renaultsport Twingo: Twingo with added Go

Renaultsport Twingo gets 133bhp and 'Cup' chassis option

The humble Twingo is the latest hatch in the Renault range to receive a Renaultsport makeover in the form of this, the Twingo Renaultsport 133.

As hinted at by its name, it develops 133bhp at 6750rpm from a 1.6-litre VVT engine and costs £11,550. Included in the price are 16in alloys, flared arches, more muscular sills and, just to be different, orange seat belts.

A ‘Cup’ version is available for an additional £650 and adds 17in anthracite alloys, a 4mm lower ride height and stiffer suspension.

Orders are being taken now and anyone putting their name down in the first 133 days will also be invited to a free Renaultsport trackday.
