WE'VE been using SpeedFerries a lot for the last couple of years to flit across the Channel, most recently for the French leg of evo Car of the Year. The service takes just 55 minutes, and being on a boat (a trimaran) gives you the chance to stretch your legs. There’s also food and drink onboard. For details of SpeedFerries’ current deals, visit www.speedferries.com
