Lotus has introduced a 252bhp Exige for the US and European markets but not, as yet, for the UK. Called the Exige Cup 255 (its power output in PS), it’s aimed at the trackday and motorsport arenas and includes a straight-cut gearbox amongst its list of options.

German tuner Arden can increase the capacity of your Jaguar XK’s V8 from 4.2 to 4.5 litres, pushing power from 294bhp to 386bhp. A 473bhp supercharged 4.5 is also offered – Jag’s own XKR makes do with 414bhp.

Provided it’s finished in time, the new Wembley Stadium will host the Race of Champions this December. The event pits circuit drivers and rally drivers head-to-head in a variety of disciplines, all within view of the crowd. For more info visit www.raceofchampions.com
