Jeff Daniels

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Jeff Daniels, 68, evo’s Technical editor

Jeff was with evo from the beginning. In the first issue he wrote a column about how one day we'd see diesel-engined supercars. Everyone scoffed at the time, but he's been proved right this year with the unveiling of the Audi R8 V12.

Jeff's knowledge was exceptional, and he had a wonderful way of making technology understandable for the average person.

He was great company, a real character, and he's going to be badly missed by all on the magazine and the industry as a whole.
