British race team offers a range of hire cars for the ’ring
Carlsberg don’t do car rental services, but if they did they would probably be like Auteg Motorsport’s. You can now hire anything from a Clio 197 or Caterham up to a 996 GT3 RS or Prosport 3000 for use on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Prices start at around £400 per day for the Clio and rise to around £1400 for the GT3 RS (although the excess on the GT3, for instance, is 50K euro).
Auteg is a British race team that has been competing and winning in the VLN series for the past two years (with a Mk2 Golf!). It is based about 400 metres from the entrance to the Nordschleife and if you want to leave a car out there (or if you just don’t fancy leaving your pride and joy outside a hotel whilst you’re over for a weekend) then Auteg will also store and service your car.
