Arrinera supercar launched

The Arrinera will be Poland's first supercar, and you know it's going to be good when Lee Noble gets involved...

Arrinera Automotive has announced full specifications and all-important price for its new mid-engined supercar. The Polish manufacturer is offering its all-new supercar from £100,000. It's powered by a Chevrolet-sourced supercharged LS9 V8 engine, producing a standard 650bhp - and there are already more extreme versions in the pipeline.

The Polish company has chosen to partner with the legendary chassis development engineer Lee Noble, who left Noble Automotive in 2008. He founded Fenix Automotive in early 2009, and it's this new company that Arrinera has gone into partnership with, making good use of Noble's 30 years experience.

Extensive use of carbon fibre and kevlar body panels keeps the weight down to a respectable 1300kg, and Arrinera quotes a 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds and top speed of 211mph, which is enough to frighten most supercars.

Under the skin features an all-new Lee Noble-designed chassis, with fully-independent multilink suspension. Arrinera is taking orders now, and the first cars should be delivered before the end of the year.
