2023 British Rally Championship: Trackrod Rally results

The 65th Motorsport UK British Rally Championship season continued with the Trackrod Rally in Yorkshire

The penultimate round of the 2023 Motorsport UK British Rally Championship came to a close in Yorkshire on Saturday, with WRC stars Adrien Fourmaux and Alexandre Coria taking their fifth win of the year. The seventh and final round of the 2023 season will commence on October 27 in Wales at the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally, where the junior winners and overall runners-up will be decided.

Winning each and every stage of the rally to sit alongside the likes of Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Elfyn Evans, Fourmaux and Coria achieved the overall win in their M-Sport Fiesta Rally2. Fourmaux said: 'What a fantastic season in the BRC and it is really nice for me to have my name alongside so many famous names on the trophy, we can be really proud of what we have done this season and I have really enjoyed coming to Britain and competing on so many different events.'

Gary Pearson achieved 2nd place overall in a VW Polo GTI R5, with Stephen Petch 3rd in a Skoda Fabia Rally2. Kyle McBride and Liam McIntyre made up the sole Junior BRC entry, ensuring a strong standing for the overall title even after a race-ending off in round five earlier this month. Alan Carmichael was also crowned National Rally Title Champion after a strong performance in his Hyundai i20, with Stuart McLaren's classic Opel Kadette GT/E powering through the stages to make the finish line.
