Renaultsport Twingo and Clio Silverstone GP limited editions

Renault announces new special edition Renaultsport hot hatches, the Twingo 133 and Clio 200 Silverstone GP

Renault has announced two new special edition hot hatches. The Renaultsport Twingo 133 and Clio 200 Silverstone GP editions are on sale now, and have been announced a week before Formula 1 visits the UK’s premier race circuit. Both have been created for the British market and just 50 of each will be made. The focus is on lashings of extra equipment for not a lot more money, though with the Twingo costing £14,995 and the Clio £19,995, both are around £3000 more than their base cars at their simplistic best. As well as exclusivity, the extra cash buys you silver paint, black alloy wheels, ‘Deep Black’ detailing, a Renaultsport Monitor performance logging system, Bluetooth and a Renault track experience at Silverstone to hone your driving skills.  The Twingo also gains a new stainless steel exhaust system while the Clio gets a pair of fantastic Recaro sports seats up front. Both cars boast Renaultsport’s more hardcore Cup chassis option. Renaultsport Twingo battles its supermini rivals Read about evo’s long-term Renault Clio 200 Cup
