Volvo S60

We managed to capture a couple of images of the production-ready Volvo S60 before it went back undercover

When Volvo's sleek S60 reaches the dealerships, it will – except for the so-called 'suicide doors' – very closely resemble the stunning concept shown at the 2009 North America International Auto Show.

With a 'coupe-like' roofline, the all new S60 will add sex appeal to the once boxy and somewhat boring Volvo line-up. The S60 will will eventually be offered with a high-efficiency petrol turbocharged direct injection 1.6-litre engine mated to a twin-clutch transmission. Volvo has said to expect new technology – including a collision warning system with full auto braking and pedestrian detection. We're guessing an official debut will take place sometime during the first quarter of 2010.
