Ford Focus Sport special edition revealed

Ford unveils the Focus Sport special edition, with sat-nav and ST hot hatch style alloy wheels

This is the new Ford Focus Sport. It’s not based on the new ST concept and it’s no hot hatchback – in fact it’s based on the outgoing Focus, rather than the all-new model. What it is, then, is value-for-money special edition to mark both the arrival of the new ‘60’ number plate and the send-off for the mk2 Focus, though sales of the Sport will continue alongside the mk3 car throughout 2011. Buyers have the choice of a 99bhp 1.6-litre petrol (£16,545) or 108bhp 1.6-litre TDCi diesel (£17,845), and they boast £1500 worth of equipment over a standard Zetec model for just £700 more.
