Maserati GranCabrio

Room at the back... Maserati announces prices for its longer-than-average Cabrio

Maserati GranCabrio

Maserati has announced pricing details for its GranCabrio, which the company launched at last September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. It’ll weigh in with an on-the-road price of £95,630. Dealers have already opened the order books and the first UK right-hand drive deliveries will be available from April of next year.

Elegantly styled by Pininfarina, the GranCabrio is blessed with the longest wheelbase of any convertible on the market and this, says Maserati, affords unusually generous comfort levels for rear seat passengers.

Power is provided by a 4.7 litre V8, 323 kW engine, and performance is predictably brisk - it reaches 62 mph from standstill in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph.

Maserati offers an unrivalled vehicle personalisation programme, so the chance of seeing two identically-specced GranCabrios on the road will be pretty rare.
