Unveils for new Italian supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati

If you need a new Italian supercar in your life, you're in luck - this week's Frankfurt motor show boasted three of them, all making their world debuts to an enamoured public.

Top of the tree is the new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster, which will be made in incredibly small numbers but boasts exceptionally large ones – 661bhp, 205mph and £970,000. Read more Reventon Roadster here.

The Ferrari 458 Italia has been grabbing many a headline, too, the new baby of the Maranello company’s range looking every inch the supercar as well as boasting numerous trick technologies. Read more 458 Italia here.

Finally, Maserati has chopped the roof off its GranTurismo and replaced it with a pleasingly old-school fabric hood to produce the gorgeous GranCabrio. All the better to hear its 433bhp V8, then.
