The seven finalists for European Car of the Year are announced. Which will win?

The finalists for the European Car of the Year award have been announced.

Fighting it out for the 2010 gong will be the Citroen C3 Picasso, Mercedes-Benz E-class, Peugeot 3008, Skoda Yeti, Toyota iQ, Vauxhall Astra and VW Polo.

There are 58 judges from 22 countries voting on the winner, and evo’s Editor-at-large John Simister is one of them. Of course, he also holds a place on the jury of a far more important award, the evo Car of the Year.

You can read our 48-page CotY feature – and find out what wins – in Issue 138 of evo, which will also chart 2009’s highs and lows as well as picking our track car and hypercar of the year. On sale Weds November 11.
