Race car to debut at Monza in build-up to 24-hour race

Peugeot’s assault on Le Mans (and Audi’s domination thereof) is gathering pace. The fantastically mean-looking 908 HDi FAP is currently undergoing extensive testing and will be taking part in all the Le Mans Series races this season. The 700bhp, 5.5-litre V12 diesel's race debut should come at Monza on April 14.

Peugeot has also announced that Jacques Villeneuve is amongst the 908's driver line-up. He will be attempting to become the first person to win the Formula 1 World Championship, Champcar Championship, Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans 24-hours.
