Video: Ken Block drives mk2 Ford Escort

Immensely cool video of Ken Block testing a rally ready mk2 Ford Escort in the New York forests

Video: Ken Block drives rally mk2 Ford Escort

Another Ken Block video has been released. And rather than a slickly choreographed film of an overly-sponsored car, this one’s somewhat more rough and ready. And perhaps cooler… It’s from late 2009, when Block was testing with his new Monster rally team in New York forests. Instead of his usual rallying Ford Focus or Gymkhana 3 Ford Fiesta, he’s piloting a mega looking mk2 Escort. With a 1.8-litre Cosworth-developed engine feeding power to the rear wheels (and a loose, grip-free surface), there’s slidling aplenty. Click above to watch… See Ken Block’s Gymkhana 3 here Meet Block’s Gymkhana Fiesta here See the mk1 Escort Mexico we tested this year
