Itinerary, Friday 9th October Depart Folkestone to Calais on the Eurotunnel for the drive through France and Belgium into Germany. Our base for the next two nights will be the Four Star Hotel Sonnenhof in the small town of Adenau just 8km from the circuit.  

Saturday 10th October This will be a full day’s driving skills training day at the Nurburgring circuit. Using the skidpan, the driver training experience is a fun and safe way of learning advanced driving skills. Using your own car under expert instruction, the day includes slalom driving, braking, avoidance and controlling your vehicle whilst skidding. A buffet lunch and soft drinks are included. After the driver training there will be an opportunity to take a backstage look behind the scenes of the Formula 1 Circuit.

In the evening a tour dinner will take place at the hotel where you can exchange your experiences with the other participants.       Sunday 11th OctoberA behind-the-scenes tour of the Jaguar Test Centre at the Nurburgring after tea/coffee and introductions. Paul Wijgaerts, the test centre manager will explain the significance of the Jaguar test centre at the Nurburgring. There will be an opportunity to view the current vehicles in the test centre.

After visiting the test centre Paul and his team will drive you around the Nurburgring Nordschleife at speed in an XKR – a truly unforgettable experience.            

Before the drive home there will be an opportunity for those who wish to use their new skills by driving themselves around the famous 'Ring’ circuit. This is quite simply one of the ultimate driving experiences with 176 corners over 21 kilometres.

  • Return Eurotunnel crossings from Folkestone to Calais (alternative routes & operators available for a small supplement)
  • Two nights in a twin or double room at the 4 star Hotel Sonnenhof in Adenau on a bed and breakfast basis.
