  • Neat styling, economical, refined engines and plenty of space
  • It’ll never handle with the verve of a hatchback, a bit mumsy

Interior and Tech

The Qashqai’s cabin fulfils its family-orientated role impressively, with excellent space front and rear for passengers, a decently sized, shaped and accessed boot and seats that fold flat to create a capacious loadspace. The Qashqai offers plenty of equipment, many coming with Nissan’s neat 360 degree round-view monitor which is a boon when parking. The touch-screen system is easy to use, too, while the range-topping models have kit to rival a luxury car.
