Have you ever seen an F1 car look like this? MP4/8 replica in pictures
Ayrton Senna tribute car on auction at Christie's
It's not often you see an F1 car being wheeled down the street, but there's always a first time. These images show a Williams FW14B 'show car' that eventually found itself repainted and rebranded as an Ayrton Senna tribute.
Set to go on sale at Christie's on the 17th of Febuary, the car, which is expected to fetch up to £40,000. It uses select parts from F1, but is by no means a true Formula One car.
That means a carbon seat, wing, discs and body. Ultimately though, it's an empty shell and is by no means a proper full on FW14B.
The car itself was being moved down Christie's itself when these images were snapped. You can read more about the vehicle on the Christie's website here.
The MP4/8 was the car that saw Ayrton Senna's final racing season at McLaren. This particular replica show car was prepared for display in London in May 2014 to commemorate the anniversary of Senna's fatal accident at Imola
