Detroit gallery I

The first of evo's Detroit motor show floor galleries

The Detroit motor show is a different affair to normal this year, with the downturn of the car industry both sides of the pond leading to less brash launches and an influx of green technology and talk of electric-based futures.

Fear not, though, as there is still a bunch of high performance cars and fun vehicles there. Some have managed to take environmental concerns into account, too, although the handful of muscle cars and the V10 Audi R8 are unlikely to win any world-saving gongs. Click through the links below to read the reports from the show floor, or scroll down to browse the gallery.
