Interior and tech
The SQ7’s interior is just like that of every other large Audi. Compliments don’t come much greater than that. It’s clean, efficient but there’s just enough flair to stop it from being clinical and austere. It doesn’t benefit from the double centre screen that’s in the Audi Q8, so it feels a little behind, but it’s still a great looking and easy to use interior.
Audi’s virtual cockpit, which displays the satnav map where the dials are usually kept, is excellent. We adore being able to see a map of the landscape you’re traversing close to your eye-line. It can be invaluable on a road you don’t know, making you aware of the angle and direction of each bend that you’re approaching.

There’s an abundance of technology and gadgets littered about a fully equipped SQ7, from a retractable towing hitch to removable TV screens behind the front seats. The rear most seats, for a 6th and 7th passenger, fold away electronically and the huge glass sunroof occupies such a large proportion of the roof to allow anyone sat that far back a good view of the sky.
