BMW M3 Frozen Silver edition

The Frozen Silver edition M3 is a unique and fully-loaded special edition - with over £9000-worth of optional extras

BMW has announced its latest special edition M3 to come to the UK, the Frozen Silver Edition Coupe. For an extra £4000, the Frozen Silver is fitted with over £9000-worth of options.

The Frozen Silver metallic paint is unique to this model as are the matt black wheels, darkened chrome and black bonnet intakes. It's not all about the looks though. The Frozen Silver receives the same chassis tweaks as the Competition pack, which means that the suspension has been lowered by 10mm and features BMW's three-stage Electronic Damper Control as well as a revised DSC+ system.

2012 is the 40th anniversary of the M Brand, and BMW says that this special edition is just part of its celebration plans. Just 100 Frozen Silver M3s will be sold, and following 2011's sales figures - 789 M3 Coupes - the UK remains an important market for the brand.
