German tuner Hamann can now make a 996-series 911 look like the latest 997. The full-on facelift comprises a new front bumper assembly, front wings and genuine Porsche 997 headlight units to replace the contentious 'fried egg' lamps of the 996. The mods can be applied to all the 996 derivatives.

Hamann also offers other styling and wheel kits for the 996, together with a range of uprated engines that culminates in a 611bhp, 614lb ft conversion for the Turbo and GT2. Further info is available at www.hamann-motorsport.de
