Spectacular supercar meet

Gathering marks launch of new car website

Hockenheim pulsed to the beat of more than 20,000bhp last month, in celebration of the launch of a new website for car enthusiasts, www.revlovers.com

The brainchild of German car fanatic Dennis Huebner, the inaugural revlovers.com meeting can only be described as the greatest gathering of modern supercars ever seen. The list of cars taking part included a pair of Bugatti Veyrons and an EB110 SS, two Ford GTs, two McLaren F1s, a Lamborghini LP640 and two Gallardos, a Ferrari Enzo, 599 Fiorano and F430, a Pagani Zonda F, a Mercedes SLR McLaren and CLK GTR, three Porsche Carrera GTs, a 959 and a 911 GT1, and, playing the plucky David amongst a hoard of Goliaths, a Caterham R300!

After driving in convoy from Frankfurt to Hockenheim, all the cars were enjoyed to the full, with most requiring new rubber by the end of the day.

Huebner has more events planned, which revlovers.com members will have the chance to attend.
