Ferrari announces the attractions for Ferrari World
The rides and exhibits in Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi are unveiled
Accompanied by some bizarre cartoon images, Ferrari has announced the attractions for the soon-to-be-opened Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, proving that it’s not all just swings and roundabouts.
Based on Yas Island alongside the Abu Dhabi F1 circuit, Ferrari World will become the world’s largest indoor theme park. 200,000square-metres of Rosso Red roof will house over 20 rides and attractions when the theme park opens on October 28th.
Highlights of Ferrari World will include the Formula Rosso rollercoaster - set to become the world’s fastest hitting speeds of 150mph. Punters can also experience the ‘Scuderia Challenge’ which uses the same racing simulators as those used for training at Scuderia Ferrari. The kids will be kept entertained with the opportunity to drive scaled-down versions of the F430 Spider and Ferrari F1 car.
It’s not all fun and games though; for the fanatic there is the world’s largest Ferrari gallery outside of Maranello and a cinema showing a short film about Enzo Ferrari. The ‘Carousel’ attraction will also feature never-before-seen prototypes based on winning designs from a Ferrari competition.
Unashamed marketing? Probably. Do we want to go there? Definitely.
